1) Certified Ethical Origin
We NEVER cut living trees to produce our Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens)
When done mindfully, the gathering of fallen Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) wood is a sustainable practice. When a tree grows old and dies of natural causes, it eventually falls to the forest floor. The tree then resides there for a number of years, untouched, allowing the rich oils within to refine with time, creating the pleasant aromas we experience with this precious wood!
WHEN WORKING WITH OUR PALO SANTO
YOU CAN BE ASSURED THAT LIVING TREES ARE NEVER CUT!
By following this strict guideline, our collection practices support the conservation of existing dry forestlands. The Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) trade has helped to bring a much greater degree of awareness to these dry forestlands and their continued preservation efforts.
We support conservation + reforestation, just as you do when you align with ethically-driven companies like FVM. These projects allow for the long-term sustainable management of the dry forest, as well as the ethical economic empowerment of the native communities who steward their native forestlands.
Working alongside hundreds of Ecuadorian & Peruvian families who act as the gatekeepers of the Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) dry forest, we help to bring these precious natural products from our native production partners to the rest of the world.
Our network of native community partners is comprised of stakeholders from all across the spectrum. We work with native communities who share our vision for a holistically-integrated Palo Santo trade and whose actions are in alignment with this environmentally-mindful ethos.
When it comes to the niche world of Bursera graveolens, going above and beyond for our beloved Palo Santo is what we’re all about. We plant new trees annually & we’ve been planting them since the beginning. Collectively, our source partners plant hundreds of palo santo teres each year, and protect and care for tens of thousands of living thriving palo santo trees, in order to help conserve the biodiversity of the dry forest & to prevent harm caused from illegal poachers & human-influenced environmental degradation. We are offering real solutions to the issues that exist in the marketplace today & we actively play our role in ensuring the conservation of our earth’s natural habitats for future generations through our mindful actions as a socially responsible, positive-impact business.

Nice and strong – and this is ethically harvested, unlike some random stuff you’d find elsewhere.
I always use Palo Santo before meditation… so I was glad to find this on here… it’s not from a cut down tree, it’s from an already fallen tree or branch… I love that! Thank you Four Visions!!!
So important to have ethically harvested Palo Santo. I was told the Palo “gives what is needed, no more, no less”… thankful to have a great source for this medicine!

This Palo Santo smells delicious and strong, it keeps its scent longer than others I have tried. Also so important to only purchase these ethically harvested pieces, very appreciative of that. Thank you!
I really love this beautiful, ethically harvested palo santo. It is so resinous, smells true and works beautifully.
I feel a strong sense of connection to Mother Earth when smelling this sacred tree. It helps ground me to the source and comforts me.
Palo Santo helps me connect with love in my heart.
